Project Requirements
Insurance requirements vary by client, site, jurisdiction and project risk. The accepted agreement should identify required coverage, limits, endorsements and certificate procedures.
Common Coverages
Depending on the engagement, requirements may address commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, professional liability, cyber liability, aviation or unmanned-aircraft coverage, and umbrella or excess liability.
Certificates and Endorsements
Certificates of insurance are evidence of coverage only and do not amend the underlying policies. Additional-insured, waiver-of-subrogation and primary/noncontributory requirements must be supported by applicable endorsements and accepted in writing.
Subcontractors
Where subcontractors or specialty partners are used, CSDA may require evidence of appropriate insurance consistent with their assigned work and contractual obligations.
No Expansion of Coverage
Nothing on this website represents that any particular loss is insured. Coverage is governed solely by the applicable policy terms, exclusions, deductibles and limits.
