Accurate Project Information
The client must provide accurate locations, limits, floor areas, expected deliverables, file standards, schedules, known constraints and intended uses. CSDA may rely on information supplied by the client and its representatives.
Site Access and Permissions
The client is responsible for lawful access, owner or tenant authorization, escorts, keys, security clearances, shutdown coordination and occupant notices unless the proposal states otherwise.
Hazards and Utilities
The client must disclose known hazardous materials, energized equipment, confined spaces, fall exposures, restricted areas, subsurface or overhead utilities and other material risks. Utility locating or marking is not included unless specifically stated.
Existing Documents
Existing drawings, models, control data and survey information must be identified as record, as-built, design or unverified information. CSDA does not independently certify such documents unless contracted to do so through properly licensed professionals.
Review and Decisions
The client must review submissions promptly, consolidate comments, identify authorized decision-makers and provide timely approvals. Revisions caused by late or conflicting direction may be additional services.
Use of Deliverables
The client must use deliverables only for the stated project purpose and within the documented accuracy, level of development, exclusions and limitations.
