Project-Specific Accuracy
Accuracy depends on equipment, calibration, control, distance, surface characteristics, line of sight, environmental conditions, registration method, requested level of detail and the intended use. Applicable tolerances must be stated in the proposal.
Visible and Accessible Conditions
Deliverables represent conditions visible and accessible during capture. Concealed, obstructed, moving, reflective, transparent, wet, dark or inaccessible features may be incomplete or require supplemental methods.
Models and Drawings
BIM and CAD deliverables are interpretations of captured data at the agreed level of detail. They are not automatically fabrication-ready, code-compliant, clash-free, survey-grade or suitable for construction layout unless expressly contracted and validated.
Coordinate Systems and Control
Local coordinates, assumed datums and client-provided control must not be treated as geodetic or survey control unless the scope expressly includes appropriate licensed control services.
Review and Acceptance
The client should review deliverables promptly against the agreed scope and report material deficiencies within the review period stated in the contract. Corrections do not include scope expansion or changes to previously approved standards.
File Compatibility and Archiving
Software versions, formats and hosting periods should be identified before production. Long-term archival, cloud hosting and future software compatibility are not guaranteed unless included in writing.
